Fatimah hanif
Fatimah Hanif is a nationally recognized Vibrational Wellness Specialist, educator, author, and the founder of I Maintain, a wellness and education platform devoted to nervous system regulation, trauma-informed healing, and sustainable self-empowerment. Her work bridges evidence-informed practices, somatic regulation, and lived experience to support individuals and communities in healing at the root—emotionally, physically, and energetically.
Fatimah holds a Culinary Arts degree from Contra Costa College, where she developed a foundational understanding of nourishment, the body, and the cultural relationship to food—an influence that continues to inform her holistic, whole-person approach to wellness. She is a Master Reiki Practitioner and holds certifications in Sound Healing (double certified), Energy Psychology, Soul Alchemy, Color Therapy, and Mental Health First Aid for both adults and youth. Her multidisciplinary training allows her to work effectively at the intersection of emotional regulation, trauma support, and vibrational wellness.
Fatimah is the author of I’m Tired of Being Toxic, along with its companion self-transformation journal, where she explores patterns of toxicity, self-abandonment, and emotional survival while offering practical tools for healing, accountability, and growth. She is also the creator of the I Maintain Vibrational Wellness ChatGPT, an innovative educational and support tool designed to make wellness knowledge, regulation practices, and self-reflection accessible to a broader audience.
In addition to her private and community-based work, Fatimah serves as the Director of Mindfulness and Restorative Practices at Watch Me Grow Inc., where she supports youth and families through trauma-informed programming, restorative practices, and nervous system regulation tools. Her leadership focuses on prevention, resilience-building, and equipping young people with skills many adults must relearn later in life.
In recognition of her deep community impact, Fatimah was named one of the 2025 Women of the Year by Congressman John Garamendi, honoring her leadership and service both locally and nationally in wellness, community empowerment, and trauma-informed care.
As a mother of three, Fatimah’s work is deeply personal. By applying these modalities in her own home, she witnessed firsthand how sound healing, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and intentional self-talk supported her children’s confidence, emotional safety, and resilience. This lived experience became a calling—expanding her mission from her family to the classrooms, organizations, and communities she now serves across the nation.
Through I Maintain, Fatimah facilitates sound bath meditations, vibrational wellness workshops, trauma-informed trainings, and nervous system regulation education for youth, adults, organizations, and institutions. Her work is especially rooted in supporting Black and Brown communities and trauma-impacted populations, with a clear focus on accessibility, cultural relevance, and empowerment. Fatimah is known for making complex concepts understandable, practical, and embodied—teaching that true confidence and healing do not come from force or performance, but from safety, consistency, and compassion.
